With this 2nd release of all original pieces, Evening Sky cements its reputation as a jazzy, rootsy quartet fully capable of not just reworking existing tunes, as in previous efforts with guest vocalists, but also creating new, compelling original material. The unusual lineup - guitar, bass, drums, and pedal steel guitar - produces a varied sonic landscape ranging from ethereal and spacey to driving and funky.
